Booth Built Patio Products, LLC Receiving/Inspection Policy

You must carefully inspect the order for the following:

Visible Damage/Piece Count

1.Before signing the Bill of Sale, count each part of the order and boxes to verify that you have received    the number of pieces listed on the Bill of Sale. If the number of items does not match the Bill of Sale,    note the missing items on the Parts Delivery Invoice.

Missing items must be noted with the shipper at the time of delivery, otherwise missing parts may not be able to be replaced free of charge.

2. Perform a surface inspection of the order, noting any visible damage on the Bill of Sale. Be sure to      retain a copy of this for your records as you may be asked to submit it to help resolve any issues.

Concealed Damage

3. You must open each box and fully inspect each piece for concealed damage within 7 days
     of receiving the order.

4. If any concealed damage is found, note each item number with a brief description of the damage and     report that damage immediately.

UPS Deliveries

5. Before signing the Parts Delivery Invoice, count each item to verify that you have received the number
     of pieces listed on the Parts Delivery Invoice.

6. If the number of items does not match the Parts Delivery Invoice, have the driver note the missing items.

Missing items may not be able to be replaced free of charge if they are not noted at the time of delivery.

7. Perform a surface inspection of each piece, and have the driver note any visible damage on the Parts
    Delivery Invoice. Refuse any damaged items!!

Concealed Damage

8. You must unwrap and open all boxes to fully inspect each piece for concealed damage immediately after receiving the order.
      If any concealed damage is found, note each item number with a brief description of the damage.

Report the damage immediately.

If UPS delivers and you are not available to accept the order follow the steps above for
"Concealed Damage".

REPORTING

Reporting missing items and visible damage: 

9. You must fax a written report of the damage to 877-979-3339 for assistance. You must notify Booth      Built Patio Products, LLC within 24 hours of delivery/pickup. You must also be sure to fax a written      report to the carrier terminal (no written report is required for UPS Ground shipments). The contact      number for the carrier is on your delivery receipt. Both reports should include:

    • Complete name, contact information and date.
    • Date of delivery, name of carrier, PRO # or Bill of Lading #
    • Type of claim (i.e. concealed damage, visible damage, missing items)
    • Product line (i.e. Alumawood or i.e. Ultra Lattice).
    • Item number and description of damage. Including which part of the item is damaged for each damaged piece.

 Reporting concealed damage:

You have 7 days to report concealed damage. Please follow the same method and include the same information for reporting missing and/or visibly damaged items.

 **Damaged goods must be kept at site for 45 days, for possible inspection by carrier.
